PEEVED by Charles Corritore & Michael Malthaner

From intrusive cell phones and misleading infomercials to faulty products and obnoxious dates, life is full of things that grate on the nerves. This series of songs and vignettes moves quickly, with a flurry of costume and voice changes as four actors insert themselves into common aggravating situations. Four chairs and a backdrop evoking comic strip-style profanity are the only permanent set pieces as the performers take audiences on a tour through a festival of all-too-familiar frustrations. Ultimately life-affirming, it helps audiences transcend their irritation by acknowledging it and transforming it into laughter.
