Starting on Wednesday, July 19, Glass Growers Gallery will be featuring the incredible work of Ana Balcazar in the Flagship City Food Hall. This collection of botanical paintings will be exhibited on the gallery wall between the State Street entrance and Perry’s Tavern.

Ana Balcazar is currently the artist in residence at the Erie Art Museum and she has a stunning exhibit on display in the museum’s Frenzel Gallery titled Entre Plantas y Mujeres. She is a Peruvian visual artist and independent educator with an international presence who has exhibited work in Latin America, Europe, and other parts of the U.S. In her studio practice, Ana uses drawing, painting, and other media to explore the female condition and her environment.
