Join us for monthly Drop-In Drawing sessions at the Erie Art Museum! These sessions occur on the Second Saturday of every month from 2–4 pm and are open to all museum members and admission ticket holders. At the start of each session there will be a 30 minute facilitated visual exploration of a highlighted piece in the Collection, providing a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of and connection with the art. After the exploration, feel free to wander the galleries and choose a piece of artwork that inspires you. Chairs will be set up throughout the galleries, offering a comfortable space for you to sit and draw. Whether you prefer to work independently or would like help from knowledgeable volunteers, you are invited to spend time with the art and let your creativity run wild. Volunteers are available to engage in conversation or provide support with your drawing skills. Please note that in order to protect the art in the museum, please do not bring any liquid materials such as inks, paints, markers, chalks, compact or vine charcoal, or pastels. If you do not have your own drawing materials, some will be available at the Museum.
